Fashion: My Top Five Reasons that you should always dress well!

It has been told to me to that it is important dress to impress; however I believe that it is important to look good for yourself. I believe you should take care of yourself and beautify yourself...for you, not only for someone else. You don’t need to go out on a date or a night around town to make an effort to look good.

Here are my five top reasons to always look good:

1. You deserve to look your best at all times
2. It is always awesome to look in the mirror and Love what you see!
3. A great outfit can brighten your mood on a "not-so-good" day
4. It is fun styling yourself and learning the what to and what not to do when styling YOU.
5. Because you deserve to always feel good about yourself FOR Yourself.

I totally understand that it is impossible to always look your best. I have my no make up, running around jogging and sweatpants day…make up, exercising, dressing up, and sweating do not mix. There are the days when I am late to work,class,or an appointment and I end up just throw on anything that I see first in my closet. But for the most part I attempt to "dress up" whenever I am able.

Since moving to New York, More specifically Brooklyn, I have retired most of my clothes and shoes. I also Changed my hairstyle probably over ten times, since I moved here last year. I am sure Changing a hair style more than ten times sounds like a lot but my hair grows very fast (thank goodness), so I use that as an opportunity to Cut my hair a Couple of times, put highlights in my hair, extensions, and etc. I have now stopped the madness with Changing my hairstyle because I found the one I love, which ironically was my original hair style.

Living in and near the city of New York made me more conscious of how I looked from head to toe. I have learned that experimental fashion(hair style, shoes, clothes, accessories) is always “in”--there does not seem to be anything that is too weird. Besides the eccentric fashion tastes of some celebrities like Lady Gaga are no longer considered weird, but are copied and envied.
