About the Author

Jessica is a young lady who is dedicated to encouraging others, more specifically women, to live transparent lives according to the Word of God. From her own personal experience of being involved in an unhealthy relationship with one of her "Christian" boyfriends she decided that she wanted to educate others about the different aspects of unhealthy relationships for the purpose of prevention through education. She decided to first educate herself through enrolling in a local domestic violence course and subsequently she joined TEAR, which stands for Teens Experiencing Abusive Relationships. For a couple of years, Jessica dedicated herself to educate various communities, organizations, and audiences about dating violence with organizations such as TEAR and DayOne NY.


In 2009, Jessica wrote and published a book titled, "The Christian Lady's Dating Constitution: A Memorandum Addressed to Teens, Their Parents, and Young Adults. " This book is outlined as a constitution which consists of a Bill of Rights that Christian ladies are encouraged to follow according to Biblical principles. Jessica believed that many Christian publications are confined to topics which discuss purity and abstinence; thereby neglecting subjects such as the indications of unhealthy relationships. In this book the author reveals her past unhealthy relationship with her "Christian" ex-boyfriend, she also outlines the different scenarios Christian females may face in dating relationships along with Biblical solutions on how to face each situation. The purpose of this book is to help Christian ladies gain discernment regarding friendships, associations, and boyfriends.

Jessica still has a few dreams that she hopes will come into fruition.Her aspirations are to successfully complete nursing school and to reach out to assist the working poor, homeless, tweens, teens, and parents. Her mission would be to help the economically disadvantaged, mentally ill, and young adults to break the cycle of poverty, poor health status, lack of education, and family dysfunction. She hopes to do this through entering the magazine industry and the Non Profit field.
